I started doing yoga soon after my first baby. My primary aim was to get rid of the pregnancy weight. Within 6 months and without any dieting my weight was back to my pre pregnancy weight (during which I had put on 21 kgs) I continued yoga with Deep sir till my second pregnancy. As soon as I found out the second time around, I took a break for 5 to 6 weeks and then just before the end of the first trimester I re started yoga, this time prenatal yoga. I continued this through out my pregnancy untill delivery. Deep sir has an in depth knowledge of various yoga assanas pertinent to each stage of pregnancy. To my surprise even surya namaskar was possible for most of the pregnancy. Yoga definitely kept me very energetic through the pregnancy. And the breathing exercises helped in relaxation, even these were monitored as breathing directly affects blood pressure. Overall a wonderful experience and highly recommended!
